Did you know that Smoothies come from the USA?

Smoothe contains the word „smooth“ which means „soft“, „fine“ or „fluffy. In this case, smoothie is a puree juice or a soft juice. But what ist the differnece between a smoothie and a normal juice? This is pretty easy to answer: They never use whole fruits during fruit production. In smoothies we put a mix of whole fruits or veggies, making it more soft with milk, water or juices. This is why the consistency of smoothies are softer and more creamy than juices are.

There are a lot of differnet and tasty smoothie variations. Everyone can get creative and find one they really like to drink.

„green smoothies“ are made of green veggies, often combined with herbes and ripe fruits. Some of you prefere those drinks made of simply fruits and juices in which often the banana ist he base oft he smoothie. Even Fitness fans will find a perfect creation using minerals, supplements or even protein additives. Moreover, milk products (as our milk kefir), plant based milk alternatives, as well as ice cream fit perfect inside a smoothie. Writing so much about how to prepare a tasty drink with so many tasty ingredients, inspired me to prepare this summerlike milk kefir mango smoothie recipe for you

But now let’s start with the recipe:-)

For this easy milk kefir mango lassi recipe you need those ingredients

  • 250 ml of Kefir – my delicious organic Kefir waits here* for you – creamy consistence -It is important that your homemade kefir is viscous. For how you can make viscous kefir click here.
  • 250g Mango
  • 130ml natural Soy drink – as an alternative to soy milk you can use all other plant based milks for the drink as well – here you learn how to make your own selfmade soy milk easily at home
  • 4 Tsp sugar*
  • 1 Tsp citrus juice

Do you have everything? This is how to make your kefir mango lassi yourself!

  1. peel Mango and cut of the core, slice the pulp into small pieces
  2. mix all ingredients for ca. 1 min on a high level untill it’s creamy
  3. Fill into 4 glasses and serve cold

  • 250g Mango
  • 250g milk kefir – creamy
  • 130ml natural Soy drink
  • 4 Tsp sugar
  • 1 Tsp citrus juice

Instructions
