I enjoy drinks with chia seeds as they are great for in between, when you’re a little hungry. Only a couple of tablespoons of chia seeds* are very filling.
In this recipe I also used some Acai and Maca powder.
The Incas in Peru already appreciated Maca for its characteristics. But what exactly is Maca? The Maca root is similar to our common garden cress.
As the plant is cultivated in areas above 4000 meters, it is exposed to extreme climate conditions. These fluctuating temperatures make the plant very robust.
