today we are going to make a tasty Chia-Kombucha drink with Acai* and Maca powder*.
I enjoy drinks with chia seeds as they are great for in between, when you’re a little hungry. Only a couple of tablespoons of chia seeds* are very filling.
In this recipe I also used some Acai and Maca powder.
The Incas in Peru already appreciated Maca for its characteristics. But what exactly is Maca? The Maca root is similar to our common garden cress.
As the plant is cultivated in areas above 4000 meters, it is exposed to extreme climate conditions. These fluctuating temperatures make the plant very robust. The leaves of the plant can also be eaten, they taste slightly spicy, similar to garden cress. Most commonly, the root is used as it tastes sweet.
The Maca root contains about 13-16% protein.

For this easy chia seed kombucha drink with acai und maca root recipe you need those ingredients
- 3 tbsp chia seeds*
- 1 organic lemon
- 1 tsp acai powder*
- 1 tsp maca powder*
- 150ml water
- At the end 400ml organic Kombucha – my delicious organic kombucha waits here* for you

- Three tablespoons of chia seeds, add 150ml water and soak for 10 minutes
- Cut the lemon into thin slices
- Put the lemon into a large jar
- Add the chia seeds, the acai and maca powder
- Pour in 400ml of Kombucha
Fill the drink into glasses
- Enjoy!
