What substances can be filtered out of the water using the Arktisquelle water filter?
The Arktisquelle water filter works in seven stages. After the first two stages, which filter the coarse particles out of the water, filtration takes place through a molecular membrane. This removes all flavorings and harmful substances (including PFAS) such as viruses, bacteria, hormones, germs, antibiotics, herbicides, fungicides, pesticides, drug residues, heavy metals such as lead, mercury, copper, arsenic, lime, sulfur, nitrate, and even radioactive substances. At this filter stage, substances larger than 0.0001 micrometers are removed from the water. This figure is probably very abstract. For comparison: a human hair has a diameter of around 50 to 70 micrometers.
