So you can produce up to 2.5 liters of homemade yogurt with just one fermentation process. That's a lot of yoghurt - so that everything is always fresh and you can offer it to your guests and present it, these 2.5 liters are divided into 12 glasses with BPA-free screw caps. Once the yogurt has matured in the 12 210ml jars, just put the lid on and put it in the fridge. Now you can go to the kitchen as you like and enjoy your homemade natural yoghurt.
While many yogurts from the supermarket contain little fruit (or their chemical substitute) but a lot of sugar, you can refine each of the 12 glasses with strawberries, blueberries, vanilla & Co. according to your personal taste. All you need to make your own natural yogurt with this yogurt maker is good milk and a yogurt culture of your choice. Preparation
Fresh milk yogurt1. Put the milk in a saucepan and heat the milk until it starts to boil. Always keep an eye on the milk, as it can boil over quickly. As soon as the milk starts to boil, remove the pan from the heat.
Important: If you use raw milk, we recommend boiling it for several minutes. So that the milk does not boil over, simply stir constantly with a whisk.
2. Give the hot milk time to cool to 35-43 ° C. As soon as your milk has reached this temperature range, add your yoghurt bacteria and mix them vigorously with a whisk until a homogeneous mass is obtained. The yoghurt starter culture must be completely "dissolved" in the milk.
Important: Of course, in addition to a purchased yogurt culture, you can also use ready-made yogurt to vaccinate your milk. However, this yogurt should not be older than 7 days.
3. Fill the clean glasses to just below the thread or into the rectangular plastic box without the plastic strainer.
Procedure for vegan yogurt from plant drinks such as soy or almond drink
