Hey, dear ones,
the new water kefir recipe is here! Somehow I remembered yesterday when washing the beetroot that I can just put it in the juicer … to unite the juice with almond milk.
The plan was actually to prepare the beetroot for fermentation (my simple recipe for fermenting beetroot can be found here *). But happily, it has developed into a pink dream that makes the winter vegetables taste good even in summer. Try for yourself what has happened.
For this very simple water kefir recipe you need these ingredients:
- 475 ml Almond milk
- 25 ml Beetroot juice
- 100 ml of your own organic water kefir* (you can order the starter complete set here*)
- 2 Tablespoon Coconut blossom sugar* (you can easily order it here*)
for decoration: a few mint leafs
May you want water fermenting yourself at home? Then I have here a detailed guide with all the important information and many valuable tips for you.
The matching accessories can be found in our complete set, which contains not only the finished organic kefir drink as a batch liquid including Japane crystals (also called kefir crystals or kefir mushrooms), but also a practical fermentation vessel with the associated lid for fermentation. In addition, the equipment still contains strainers, funnels, organic figs, organic raw cane sugar u.v.m. You can easily order the complete set here* online.
Do you have all the ingredients ready? Ok, let’s get started:
- Boil the almond milk with the beetroot juice in the Thermomix (5 minutes/ 1,5)
–>Without Thermomix: Bring the almond milk with the beetroot juice to boil in a saucepan with stirring. - Add the coconut blossom sugar and your organic water kefir to the remaining ingredients in the mix pot and stir until foamy at speed 10 for 20 seconds.
–> Without Thermomix, add the coconut blossom sugar and your own organic water kefir into the pot and stir until fluffy with a whisk. - Spread your water kefir beetroot latte over two glasses, top with mint leafs & enjoy.

Ich habe vor kurzem erst die Rote Bete-Latte probiert, dafür habe ich das Rote Beete Pulver verwendet. Die Farbe sieht sehr schön aus.
Alles Liebe,
