Make yoghurt yourself with the Pure Plus yoghurt maker from Luvele - Instructions
Ingredients:
- 1,5 liters of milk
- 100ml active natural yoghurt (or yoghurt fermentation sufficient for 2 liters of yoghurt)
- 50g whole milk powder
- First, heat your milk in a saucepan to just below the boiling point (approx. 80 ° C - 85 ° C). Then let the milk cool down to 40 ° C.
- As soon as 40 ° C has been reached (it is best to check with a sterile kitchen thermometer) add your yoghurt cultures (natural yoghurt or yoghurt ferment) and stir carefully.
- Now put the yoghurt-milk mixture in the Luvele ceramic container and press the lid firmly onto the container. To ensure that the glass or fermentation container is properly closed, please press the vacuum button.
- Now place the yoghurt container in the lower part of the yoghurt maker, fill it with water up to the mark (long bar) and close the device with the lid.
- With the help of the digital control panel you can now set the desired fermentation temperature and duration. You can choose between 36 ° C, 38 ° C and 40 ° C. The maturing time should be between 8 and 10 hours.
- After the program has ended, the device switches off automatically. Take off the lid and take the yoghurt container out of the base of the yoghurt maker. Open the ceramic container and check that the yogurt has the desired consistency. If not, please don't move. You can let the yogurt ferment a little longer. If everything is ok, switch off the device, close the yoghurt container again and put it in the refrigerator for 8 hours.
- Your fresh natural yoghurt is ready to eat after 8 hours of ripening in the refrigerator. Remember to leave enough yoghurt to inoculate the next 1,5 liters of milk with yoghurt cultures. According to Luvele, the yoghurt should be used up within 4 - 5 days.
