Our delicious yogurt starter is a so-called heirloom variety. In principle, once you have the starter bacteria, you can endlessly make yoghurt yourself and pass it on :-) This yogurt starter ferments thermophilically. If you read about the additives, you can already tell by the name of one of the bacteria. Thermophile means that the yogurt needs heat for fermentation. For this reason, a good yogurt maker or yogurt machine would be very helpful for fermentation. Our Greek yogurt impresses with its unique taste.
