Our delicious yogurt starter is a so-called heirloom variety. This means that once you have taken care of the yoghurt culture and made Matsoni natural yoghurt yourself, you can vaccinate again and again. It's like milk kefir, water kefir, kombucha. In principle, once you have the starter bacteria, you can endlessly make yoghurt yourself and pass it on :-) This yoghurt starter fermentes mesophilically. If you read about the additives, you can already tell by the name of one of the bacteria. Mesophile means that the yogurt only needs room temperature for the fermentation. Let yourself be seduced by the slightly gentler taste of Matsoni yogurt compared to milk kefir ...
