If you hear Bulgaria, yogurt will come to mind quite quickly. This is not surprising, because Bulgarian yogurt is world-famous and its origins go back to 2,000 BC. Our delicious yogurt starter is a so-called heirloom variety. This means that once you have taken care of the yoghurt culture and made Bulgarian natural yoghurt yourself, you can vaccinate again and again. It's like milk kefir, water kefir, kombucha. In principle, once you have the starter bacteria, you can endlessly make yogurt yourself and pass it on :-) This yogurt starter ferments thermophilically. If you read about the additives, you can already tell by the name of one of the bacteria. Thermophile means that the yogurt needs heat for fermentation. For this reason, a good yogurt maker or yogurt machine would be very helpful for fermentation. Our Bulgarian yogurt impresses with its unique taste. The selected bacterial strains in the yoghurt ferment create a wonderfully creamy natural yoghurt with a slightly sour taste.
