Dear Kefir Friends,
today, I have a super colourful and yummy Kefir Recipe for you. Therefor, you need a lot of different types of fruits and vegetables. A great mixture to have a good start into day during these cold and dark winterdays.
As I hold the citrus, we need fort he recipe, in my hands, it reminds me of my grandma. She gave me a small piece of it when I was a little child and told me to try it carefully. The moment I had a bite, my face turned into a strange grimace and my grandma said:
„Now, you see. Sour is making you funny!“
We both had to laugh out loud looking at each other. But since that moment, I knew that I should better eat a citrus in combination with other food and never again pure.
Today, I know how to use a citrus in other very usefull ways. For example to get rid of bad smells in your fridge. Just put some citrus juice on a little sponge or a tissue and leave it inside the fridge. After a couple of hours, all bad smells will be gone.
But this is not the only usefull household trick with citrus.
If you want your cutting board to smell fresh an clean, especially after preparing onions and garlic on it. Just rub a half citrus across the board and voila all smells will be gone.
Now, we want to make a new Water Kefir recipe and I proudly present the Green Cream Smoothie. 🙂
