Outside it is getting colder and the time comes where you can have a cosy afternoon in front of a nice fire place. For this time, we created a warm and tasty golden milk recipe for you.

Milk kefir meets turmeric, honey, ginger, cinnamon and of course your selfmade milk kefir. This spicy combination will make you feel even more comfortable at home during these cold winter days.
For this delicous kefir golden milk recipe you need the following ingredients:
- 300ml self-made probiotic milk kefir made from organic kefir grains – get your kefir grains here
- 1 turmeric ca. 5cm
- 1 ginger ca. 5cm
- Some pepper
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp coconut oil
All ingredients ready? Then let´s go for the recipe!
- Peel turmeric and ginger and cut into small pieces (Caution with the colour: Wash hands, the board and knife after using turmeric)
- Put all ingredients except honey in a mixer and mix 1-2 min on a high level
- Put the mixed milk inside a pot and boil. Let it soak for a few minutes afterwards
- Let the ready prepared milk run through a sieve in a suitable cup and enjoy!
