Today, we have one of our famous kefir cake recipes for you. A tasty and creamy milk kefir cake for all strawberry fans is waiting for you.

For this delicous kefir cake recipe you need the following ingredients:

For the base

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 70g sugar
  • 1 package vanilla sugar
  • 70g flour
  • ½ package baking powderMilk kefir rhubarb cake- a tasty and fruity summer dream - cake mixture

For the toping

  • 350g self-made probiotic milk kefir made from organic kefir grains – get your kefir grains here
  • 300g strawberries
  • 200ml cream
  • 170g sugar
  • 1 package galantine + 3 leaves galantine
  • 100ml water

All ingredients ready? Then let´s go for the recipe!

  1. For the base, mix eggs, hot water, sugar, vanilla sugar together until creamy and add flour and baking powder in the end
  2. Add the whole dough for the base in a greased soringform (Ø23cm) and bake 20min on 175°c
  3. Let the finished cake base cool down and half it until you have 2 similar sized slices
  4. Mix kefir, strawberry and sugar until you have a strawberry mouse. Beat cream with a mixer until stiff
  5. Let galantine soak inside water and heat up until it is all dissolved
  6. Add ¼ of the strawberry mouse to the galantine
  7. Put the mouse inside the fridge for 15 min. As soon as the mixture starts to gel, add the beaten cream
  8. Spread ¼ of the strawberry mouse on the first slice of the ground and put the second slice on top
  9. Now add the rest of the mouse on top of the second slice. Store the cake inside the fridge for a few hours or during night time
  10. Enjoy the cake!
