What could be better than enjoying a delicious, selfmade iced coffee outside in the sun? Right: with kombucha. We would like to show you in this recipe, how you can easily make kombucha coffee with your scoby and how to prepare a delicious iced kombucha coffee out of it. The taste is amazing! Try it yourself!

For this easy kombucha iced coffee recipe you need those ingredients

  • 2 litres freshly made coffee
  • Fermentation vessel for 2.5 litres
  • Lit for the vessel – kitchen paper or towel
  • 180g sugar
  • 1 kombucha scoby for 2 litres – you can buy our organic kombucha here*
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Crushed ice

Do you have everything? This is how to make your kombucha iced coffee recipe yourself!

  1. Fill the warm coffee inside the fermentation vessel
  2. Add sugar and dissolve inside the coffee
  3. Let the sweet coffee cool down on room temperature
  4. Now, add your scoby and 250ml starter liquid
  5. Now cover your fermentation vessel
  6. Let kombucha ferment for 7-8 days – how you can easily make kombucha yourself you learn here*
  7. Fill the kombucha coffee drink in another suitable vessel without the scoby and let it cool inside the fridge for 1-2 hours
  8. Now, fill in a glass with crushed ice and add a ball of ice cream
  9. Enjoy your drink!
