Tsatsiki is a typical cold served greek appetizer and fits to so many different meals. The best combination is of course with Gyros or Souvlaki but even with other meaty dishes for example with a good barbecue in summer, Tsatsiki is always a good adding. Moreover, it is a good combination for noodle casserole, potatoe dishes or as a dip for veggie plates. Moreover, Tsatsiki is also famous for beein one oft he most popular dressings for kebab and salates as you might know.
There are so many meals you can make or add with Tsatsiki that it is very easy to create something tasty everyone will like. Tastsiki is a great allrounder and nearly fits to every dish you make.
Did you know that Tsatsiki is only known since 1070 in Germany?
During this time, the first greek restaurants became popuar and the spicy joghurt was one oft he Germans favorite. Around 2000 you can find Tsatsiki daily in a supermarket.
