Kefir banana pineapple dessert - a selfmade dream with milk kefir

Dear kefir friends.

I am always happy when the doorbell rings and friends spontaneously come over to visit me. But spontaneous means – it is the nature of things – also that I’m not prepared.

If I am having guests I want them to feel comfortable. In my opinion this includes to offer something to eat and to drink. With regard to drinks I, of course, offer the kefir drink or kombucha. If someone loves coffee or water he naturally will be served as well;-)

But what to do if it should be fast and easy?

In such moments I often come up with my kefir banana pineapple dessert. In my house bananas are always in stock fresh and as dried fruit. It belongs to my daily Muesli in the morning. For this reason this dessert together with oats and some more milk kefir is perfect breakfast kefir recipe.

When I purchase bananas in the health food store I always have to search for the ones that are not totally green.

For this reason I always buy a few kilos bananas at a time. As time goes by the bananas ripen in my kitchen, become dark yellow and deliciously sweet. By the way, if you like dried bananas you can get it here*

Beside the mentioned 3 bananas for this recipe you will also need a ripe pineapple. To peel the pineapple I used this time a clever tool. For me it works perfect. Though I always thought a knife is completely sufficient and all other stuff is just more dirty dishes. But if you rinse it right after using with water it is clean and only needs get dry. So if you like this stuff click here*

And now you just need some homemade milk kefir and you can get started 🙂
